Day 1
Tehran

Arrival at IKIA Airport. Private transfer to hotel. Welcome dinner with the Heritage Persia team. Briefing & SIM card.
Day 2
Tehran → Damavand Foothills
▼
Drive into the Alborz range (2h). Tajrish Bazaar and Darband village en route. Arrive Polour, base village of Mount Damavand. Easy acclimatization walk with views of the volcanic cone.
Day 3
Damavand Region

Half-day hike on Damavand's lower slopes (no technical climbing required). Afternoon soak in the Larijan thermal hot springs. Overnight in a mountain guesthouse.
Day 4
Alborz → Masuleh
▼
Cross the Alborz pass, descending through cloud forest into Gilan province. Arrive Masuleh, the terraced village where each rooftop is the next house's courtyard. Evening exploring its stepped alleyways.
Day 5
Masuleh → Caspian Coast

Drive to Anzali (1.5h). Boat safari through Anzali Lagoon's wetlands and birdlife. Continue to Rasht, Gilan's capital — Rasht Grand Bazaar and a Gilaki cooking class.

Full day among Lahijan's tea gardens and Gilan's emerald rice paddies. Free time on the Caspian shoreline. Farewell dinner.
